Avinoam Lerner is an author, an innovator and a practitioner in the field of Complementary Medicine with specialty in healing Cancer.
Since beginning to study ancient and modern healing practices in the Far East in 1992, Avinoam has developed his ability to help his clients transform physical and emotional suffering into wellness and serenity.
In his private practice in Brookline, Massachusetts Avinoam works with cancer patients seeking to maximize the effectiveness of conventional medical care. His practice integrates evidence-based holistic disciplines that are safe and none invasive and he tailors his healing sessions to meet individual clients needs.
In 2006, Avinoam received a Letter of Commendation from the Mayor of Newton for the support he had been providing for those with cancer, anxiety and emotional turmoil.
After earning his degree in Holistic Health from the Ridman College for Complementary Alternative Medicine in Israel in 2000, Avinoam was certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) as well as the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in the USA.
Much of Avinoam’s work is founded on the work of Dr. Al Barrios, a clinical psychologist and a pioneer in the field of immunotherapy. In 1996, Dr. Barrios received the first annual Cancer Federation Award in psychoneuro-immunology, and was nominated for the Norman Cousins Award in Mind-Body Health.
Avinoam is also inspired by the work of Stephen C.Parkhill, a noted hypnotherapist and the author of Answer Cancer – The Healing of A Nation who developed, enhanced and perfected advanced hypnotic protocols to the healing of cancer.
