I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 4 years ago. I have been through numerous surgeries and a variety of chemotherapy options. I kept being revisited by errant cells. I am being cared for by outstanding oncologists. I am in great hands. However, I also knew (as with all illnesses), that the patient must come to the table with a will to live, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take responsibility for helping themselves.
