Training: I have received my degree in Holistic Health from the Ridman College for Complementary Alternative Medicine in Israel in 2000 and have been certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) as well as the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in the USA. I have been a professional member of the National Guild of Hypnotists since 2006, and do annual continuing education to maintain my training at a high level.
AS THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS HAS NOT ADOPTED EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING STANDARDS FOR THE PRACTICE OF HYPNOTISM, THIS STATEMENT OF CREDENTIALS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under Massachusetts law a hypnotist may not provide a medical diagnosis nor recommend discontinuance of medically prescribed treatments. If a client desires a diagnosis or any other type of treatment from a different practitioner, the client may seek such services at any time. In the event a client terminates my services, the client has a right to coordinated transfer of services to another practitioner. A client has a right to refuse hypnotism services at any time. A client has a right to be free of physical, verbal and sexual abuse. A client has a right to know the expected duration of sessions, and may assert any right without retaliation.
Confidentiality: I will not release any information to anyone without a written authorization from you, except as provided for by law.
Payment: There is no cost to the initial consultation. If payment for services was made by checks please note that returned checks are subject to a $40.00 service charge.
Insurance: Insurance companies do not cover hypnotherapy. I do not engage in correspondence with insurance companies.
Redress: I am a certified member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you have a complaint about my services or behavior that I cannot resolve for you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at PO Box 308, Merrimack, NH 03054-0308, (603) 429-9438, to seek redress.
Approach: The services I render are held out to the public as non-therapeutic hypnotism, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. I do not represent my services as any form of health care or psychotherapy, and despite research to the contrary, by law I make no health benefit claims for my services.
