Rapid Trauma Solution

(IN-PERSON INTENSIVE PROGRAM)

Resolving trauma does not need to be a lifelong journey.

Each therapeutic approach, conventional or otherwise, is designed to achieve different goals. The advantage of the Rapid Trauma Solution is that, unlike traditional therapy, which primarily engages the rational Conscious part of our mind, it engages the Subconscious Mind. Our Subconscious Mind is the emotional mind, the storehouse of our knowledge, memories, perceptions, and beliefs.

The Subconscious Mind

Working in the realm of the Subconscious Mind, we have direct access to the very memory, event, or moment (during our formative years) when our self-concept was altered and changed. I call this original moment, memory, or event the Initial Sensitizing Event (ISE). Accessing the ISE, we utilize the same pathway or mental mechanism that programmed the trauma into the self-concept in the first place to program in something different instead.

The power of hypnotherapy to override trauma lies in its ability to penetrate the trauma program itself in a safe way. Examining the event from a different perspective allows us to come to a new decision about its meaning. Once this “new” meaning overrides the “old” meaning, we will be free from the “old” effect, limitation, or suffering.

That’s what is at the heart of the process.

Benefits of the Rapid Trauma Solution

A traumatic experience by definition results in a breakdown of our sense of safety. Whether the cause of the breakdown was physical, emotional or psychological, RTS can help reframe and assign new meaning to the cause and therefore assist in re-developing internal (emotional, psychological) and physical (touch, the environment) senses of safety.

Triggers are essentially trauma reminders. The goal of RTS is dismantle and diffuse them so you are free to choose your reaction to people, circumstances and events in your life.

It’s worth noting there’s value in identifying, understanding and expressing feelings associated with trauma and triggers through conventional therapy

By addressing the root of trauma and assigning new meaning to the circumstances and events where trauma was formed (the cause) we inevitably change their symptoms and expressions (Effect). The result is often a decrease in anxiety, trauma-related shame or guilt, and/or intrusive symptoms such as flashbacks and nightmares.

Trauma is painful. Pain is a part of life. Coming to terms and learning to accept the pain will not necessarily go away is often the most difficult aspect of recovery.

The goal of RTS is to help survivors transform the meaning of their pain so it will no longer dominate their consciousness and instead become but one part (or parts) of the rich, ongoing tapestry of life.

I took the leap of faith and just flew across country (during COVID) to work with him and reclaim my life. My experience with him was unsurpassed. I have worked with numerous therapists in my life but was moved by not only what he was teaching me and helping me reprocess in a different way, but I was moved by his warmth, connection, compassion and authenticity.

Avinoam was the top recommendation for the kind of regression-type hypnosis I was looking for, especially if it involved internal conflict.

He is a clear, firm, and kind human being. He gets right to the meat of the problem and listens deeply. He made me feel safe, heard, and calm. His boundaries (and mine) felt very clear.  I was WOWED.

It was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. Avinoam was once a soldier, and during our hypnosis sessions, he was literally down in the trenches with me. And we attacked my wounds together, not just in anger, but with love. We were digging deep into my psyche to help clear the decks so I could deal with my cancer in the here and now. Those traumas were not only holding me back from healing but likely contributing to my illness. Cancer loves stress, anger, fear, and anxiety.

15-Hour Intensive Individualized Recovery Program

The RTS program is a 15-hour program.

RTS’s innovative, condensed, and goal-oriented format is a key reason for its rate of success and effectiveness. It is unrealistic to expect deep and lasting transformation within the conventional 50-clinical minute sessions most therapists offer or even in a 90-minute session.

This program consists of 10 sessions of 1.5 hours each, 15 hours in total, including several segments. The first segment is called Breakthrough Day. On the Breakthrough Day, we work for 7.5 hours straight (5 sessions).

Clinical Hypnotherapy
Body-Mind Integration
NeuroLinguistic Programming

Addressing the Root Cause

A full uninterrupted day means we can cover significant “mental ground” and gain momentum toward recovery. The second segment consists of the remaining five sessions. For best results, we will often schedule a block of two sessions (back-to-back) at a time.

RTS produces real-time meaningful results, especially on day one, your marathon session. We begin the process by resolving and unlocking mental and emotional patterns at the root of the trauma. Then we work to establish a lasting behavioral change in the follow-up sessions.
